Jason is a man with extensive experience as a pilot. Throughout his career, he has run against numerous unexpected circumstances that required quick thought to resolve.
But under certain circumstances, he rose to the status of hero.
Just after landing, the aircraft Jason was piloting was immediately surrounded by a huge flock of birds that were slamming on the windows.
The sight stunned Jason because it was so unusual. The passengers’ lives were in his hands, so he sought to flee the angry birds, but it wasn’t as easy as he had anticipated.
He tried to convince everyone on board that everything would go smoothly while hoping that the birds wouldn’t damage the engine.
Unfortunately, Jason was at a loss as to how to get rid of the birds because they were only growing more aggressive.
The control tower was silent when he asked flight control for assistance.
Since he couldn’t control the aircraft, he made the decision to return to the airport. However, as the attacks got stronger, he was eventually forced to try a move he had never done before: a water landing.
That was the only choice that made sense to the pilot, as crazy as that may sound.
In spite of the startling hit, nobody was wounded.
When help arrived, tugboats were dispatched to the scene to assist in lifting the aircraft out of the water. Each person was saved, but because the bird attacks persisted, it took some time for the rescue effort to get going. Despite the rescue agencies’ persistent efforts to scare the birds, they were unsuccessful for some reason.
After an investigation, it was ultimately revealed what prompted the flock of birds to assault the plane. It was discovered that one of the passengers was the individual trying to smuggle some birds and was involved in the illicit trade in exotic birds.
When everything came to an end and Jason learned everyone was okay, he felt relieved and broke down in tears of joy. He exposed a criminal organization in addition to preventing a catastrophe.
This is but another example of the challenges those who work in aviation face.
Jason was praised for his actions as well as his ability to remain calm and focused while attempting to safeguard the safety of every passenger on board.
The illegal business that was the cause of the odd behavior of the birds was put an end to by this one person alone.
